I list some of the new and used products I have on hand in my Reverb Shop. Items are added regularly, so check my shop often. These listings however don't include products currently stocked at my Black Crow Trading Co. booth in Oswego, KS.
Here's how it works:
Local customers (whether you have a Reverb.com account or not) who make purchases directly through me, and which don't require shipping, will receive a 15% discount from the price shown on my Reverb Shop!
If you don't find the item you're looking for in my music store shop, you can search for it on the full Reverb.com site. I've been buying and selling on Reverb for many years; it's an easy and safe way to find almost anything music related. Creating a Reverb.com account is free, easy and secure. I recommend Reverb for any musician - professional or beginner.
Of course, I hope you'll find what you need, and make your purchases, from Dave's Music Gear and Accessories (DMG) - your local music shop that strives to spotlight the needs of our local musician community.
Inexpensive mouth harps are offered by some music and novelty stores for less than $15.
If you want a high-quality instrument that'll last for years, consider the following:
CONSTRUCTION (Design & Playability)
Mouth harps consist of a frame (corpus or body) and a spring (reed or tongue). The spring is either soldered, wedged, screwed, or crimped onto the frame. Placement of the spring between the frame arms is crucial for proper sound and function. Higher-quality mouth harp springs are more securely attached to the frame.
MATERIALS
Frames are typically made from steel or brass and springs are often high carbon steel. Material types influence timbre, volume, frequency, and other sound qualities.
QUALITY
Quality mouth harps generally have the spring soldered or bolted onto the frame to prevent it from shifting. Inexpensive mouth harp springs are often just crimped on.
SOUND
Sound is produced by pressing the frame arms against your teeth as you pluck the spring, making sure it's free to vibrate. The vibrations resonate and amplify from your mouth and are altered by opening and closing your throat, gently moving air past the spring, and reshaping your mouth.
Listening to samples of different mouth harps can help in making a selection.

The mobile "pop-up" business model has proven successful for many in the food service industry (as well as for sellers of velvet Elvis artwork). Will it also work for a music business? I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure the only way to know is by giving it a try.
Much of the details for DMG Mobile are still up in the air, but here's the basic concept (see Current Status for up-to-date details):
